Workshops

 

The Trolley Museum of New York invites those interested in participating in the 14th Annual Artists’ Soapbox Derby to attend a hands-on workshop on how to design and build a derby car.  The Soapbox Derby will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 1PM on lower Broadway in Kingston, NY.

 

The Workshop Series will be held in the Trolley Museum Display and Restoration Shop at 89 East Strand.  The workshops are free, but you must make a reservation to attend one of the workshops.  The dates of the workshops are: July 26th, August 2nd, 9th & 16th, all beginning at 1PM.  Some tools and materials will be available, but workshop participants are encouraged to bring their own materials and tools.
