The next raciest artistic event in Kingston is scheduled for this summer on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 1:00pm when the 16th Annual Artists’ Soapbox Derby
careens inexorably down Broadway towards the Rondout Creek.
This eclectic event is presented by Donskoj & Company Gallery and the City of Kingston will be awarding prizes for our first, second and third place finishes in both the youth, family group and adult divisions. Judging is based on a combined score of creativity and engineering.
This is not a race.
The Artists' Soapbox Derby is turning Sweet Sixteen this year so check the counter on this page to see how many days are left to join the biggest sweet sixteen party ever. We're expecting thousands of spectators to celebrate with us ; so on your mark, get set and go start building your soapbox.
